Role Description: Head of Technical Department (Permanent Role)

Location: Valencia, Spain

Role Description:

This is a contract role for a Technical Support Engineer based in Valencia, with flexibility for some remote work. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to clients, troubleshooting complex issues, and leveraging analytical skills to provide sound solutions. The Technical Support Engineer will also work closely with the customer support team to ensure excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Development of After-Sales Technical Support Network: Lead the establishment and growth of the after-sales technical support network to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance longevity.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly with sales and engineering, to enhance synergy and streamline communication for effective project execution.
• Quality Control Standards: Organization of a rigorous quality control to guarantee the reliability and precision of our metering equipment, ensuring customer confidence and satisfaction.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay updated of industry developments and guarantee compliance with relevant market and industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements for metering equipment.
• Leadership and Team Inspiration: Take the lead in inspiring and managing a team of skilled engineers and technical professionals, cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 Years of Technical Leadership Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of three years of experience in a technical leadership role within the metering equipment industry or related electrical/electronic equipment field.
• Technical Expertise in Metering Technologies: Showcase strong technical proficiency in metering technologies, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of specify relevant technologies, ensuring the ability to drive innovation and address complex challenges.
• Leadership and Communication Skills: Possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve collective objectives and milestones.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic or industrial engineering. High level of English and Spanish languages.
